Dr. Margaret Pitrone is originally from the Philippines, where she attended Grace Christian School. She received her Bachelor of Science in medical technology from George Washington University. In 1993, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland Dental School with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She completed specialty training in orthodontics at Howard University in 1995. She is a board-certified orthodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Pitrone finds it extremely rewarding to see a patient who was once shy or self-conscious smiling more and being more confident. It is this passion that compels her to strive to stay current with the latest technology and the most innovative treatment techniques through numerous professional memberships and continuing education opportunities.
Dr. Pitrone is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Maryland State Society of Orthodontists, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, and the Carroll County Dental Society, for which she has served as president. She is currently a Preferred Invisalign® Provider and an Invisalign Teen Provider.
When not creating smiles at the office, Dr. Pitrone likes to spend time with her husband Paul, and daughters Megan and Jennaliese. She enjoys unwinding by relaxing at the beach, visiting and exploring new places, and trying new recipes!
